Is it possible to change the angle at which the spectator camera views? I would love to be able to view the exact same angle as the player, i've got a spectator crosshair lying around somewhere.

Just a small mod (in principle) but i think it would be great.

I was thinking the same thing.

It would be cool to see what they see and no 3rd person.

Not sure if this would work, but (this might be considered cheating) try hex editing cg_3rdperson to something like cg_3rdp3rson, just make sure it has the same number of characters as the original. Once in the game, while in spectator put your new command, like cg_3rdp3rson, in console with a zero after, ex: cg_3rdp3rson 0.
Don't know, and doubt that would work, but worth a try.

All that will do is allow 3rd person view while playing.
Its the complete oposite to what were talking about.
Im talking about the camera angle when spectating.

There must be a way to alter where it sits, so we can move the camera to just in front of the players face, so we see @ the same level as the player.
In other words, First person view in spectator mode, just without a gun.
