Default BBC message boards - 06-02-2003, 08:18 AM

Well the BBC in the uk last night chose to show a documentary with a clip of two of our brave soldiers getting killed by a mob in Iraq. So I decided to have my say on their forum. Obviously I knew my comment would piss off some wanker Lefties but I didnt realise that said lefties were such fucking idiots, pasted below is my transcript so far, will update it as I argue with them more and I am Joan by the way ( well not really but I like to take on a feminine persona at the weekend hahaha )

I am disgusted with the BBC. Considering most of the public didnt want the clip of our brave men shown and considering the public fund the BBC why did they feel they had to show it ?? I imagine if it was the BBC chiefs wife that had been dismembered he would never have shown the clip, lets hope that she does not have anything so bad happen to her and the pics dont get plastered over the internet I would view them for sure and take great joy in his pain

Your double standards do make you sound quite unintellegent and sick.
This subject is already being discussed on previous posts. I suggest searching back and adding your comments there (that is if you want to discuss).

Haha, and you should learn to spell you idiot, quote " unintellegent" hahahaha

re: Al Jazzeera Documentary Manny C - 31st post - 2 Jun 2003 13:44
Yes, it is a shame when we stoop to argue over such things as grammer.
Reminds me of what my teacher once said...

"Never argue with fools because they'll bring you down to their level and beat you on experience...."

re: Al Jazzeera Documentary joan harwich - 5th post - 2 Jun 2003 13:48
Again you suprise me, quote "grammer" this should be spelt thus " Grammar ". And I guess it was not your English teacher that told you that quote

Maybe I am an asshole, but its a choice, I could be nice if I wanted, this guy should have listened in school the idiot.

re: Al Jazzeera Documentary Manny C - 31st post - 2 Jun 2003 14:04
Joan, I am sorry if my spelling offends you. I try extemely hard to improve my "grammar" all the time and to be honest, I am quite proud of the level I have achieved, expecially when I look back to the beginning of my course.
Now, if you wan't to discuss the issue at hand, which is the broadcasting of the soldiers on the BBC, then let's discuss, but I'd rather do it with just a little bit of maturity. [reply] [Alert A Moderator]

Thank God BBC dont listen to people like you, thats what make BBC such a unbiased and reliable broadcasting station, because they dont try to please ignorant and idiots all the time How old are you anyways? This is life, if they broadcast soldiers being killed in hostile territory and in a conflict and you're unhappy with it too bad. Thats reality, deal with it.

Um, I honestly doubt you'll get empathy from people here on this one, mate.

So far all you've shown us is you complaining about the BBC (nothing wrong there, I do it all the time) but in a bit of a nasty way, and you then proceed to slate someone for their grammar/spelling when they challenge your post.

Grammar nazis are not widely embraced here. In fact, I imagine they aren't embraced anywhere except, perhaps, on Grammar Discussion forums?

Your debate is an interesting one, but the way you debate it isn't.

Channel 4 do better documentaries, though... Such as the shocking one last night about Princess Dianna - The night she died.
