Default execing a different cfg question... - 06-12-2003, 10:58 AM

My friend has been having problems putting a tag on his name (we have changes gamespy id, all-seeing-eye id, game configs, but it keep reverting back to his original. So, I decided to create a name.cfg file that would change it for him, everytime he gets on a server. It works if you type in console: exec name.cfg. and when it is bound to a key, but I would like to put in the unnamedsolider.cfg something that will automatically do it each time. I tried just exec name.cfg, but it doesn't work. What can I do here? Would an autoexec.cfg work? Thanks for any information.

make a shortcut to mohaa.exe and put the following in the command line or target line depending on you os "+exec name.cfg" without the quotes. make sure the name.cfg is in your mohaa/main folder. and it will execute everytime you start mohaa. here is an example of what i am talking about:

"c:\program files\ea games\mohaa.exe" +exec name.cfg
