Is this a deal or a rip off... -

A British DPM Camo Kevlar vest cover, for $20 us, plus $7 shipping. I could put some home-made cotton or foam inserts into it and use it for airsoft, which it would be great for seeing as I'm considering with going with a British infantry kit (I LOVE the L85A2 biggrin: ). So, is it worth it (seeing as it's just a fabric cover, and could be home-made for less if I could get my hands on some DPM material) or is it a rip-off?

You're the first I know whose said something like that. I say 20 bucks for a vest cover is pretty good.

Yeah, it seems like a good price, but, mind you, it's in american dollars, and there's shipping, so it'll probably end up costing around $30-$40 Canadian.
I think I might contact Daves Surplus (http://www.davesarmysurplus.com) and see how much he would sell a used Brit. DPM vest cover for before placing any bids.

yeah, it could be, or it could be from a digital camera, those things produce some pretty good quality images.

Yeah but not to many people take pictures of the stuff they sell on ebay on a white backround. Make sure this guy doesn't rip you off

Yeah, that's another risk of ebay, fake auctions. Think I'll contact daves surplus and see if he's got any kicking around, I plan on get my DPM BDUs and helmet there anyway.
Anyone know a good site to find british military gear at a good price?

I think is a rip off because buying a vest is pointless IMO. I mean, what are you going to do? Go out and brag about it? I rather spend a good ol' 20 on something else..more..important.

Look at the guys "profile" before you make assumptions. First, he's a "power-seller" and he has 99% positive feedback which is excellent. So you're un-likely to get ripped off by this guy.
So shut the fuck up Sclass12, god you piss me off you retarded bastard.

Ahah! It could be a rip off after all.
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... gory=13981
Here's one for 4.99 GBP, that's just under $12 Canadian, and that other one is selling for $20 US, which is close to $30 Canadian, although, shipping to BC, Canada from the UK costs twice as much as shipping from Washington state... eek:
On the other hand, this guy's got 100% positive feedback.
