It's here ladies and...ahem, yea.

Right now there are only SERVER mirrors up - presumably to give servers a chance to meet the no doubt high demand for servers - but client mirrors will be up this evening.

Natural Selection, if you havent heard, is a mod for HL, that is basically Aliens combined with the gameplay of HL and a RTS game. It's an innovative approach that has ALREADY been apped by a major studio game release soon to be coming out.

THIS is the game that I have my eye on for a conversion from HL to hL2. Right now the character models look dated compared to what they CAN look like with HL2, but it's still all good.

If you're sick of the RUN AND GUN tactics of Counter Strike, go on and give NS a try - its one of the most innovative and ingenius mods to come along in a looooong time. If you're sick of playing the SOLDIER BOY, hop on in the commanders seat and give it a go at dishing out orders.

Here's hoping we can get some COMMANDER VS. COMMANDER maps, or ALIENS VS. ALIENS.

Natural Selection 2.0 is fun. I just hate that fades need the third hive to get acid rocket.

I haven't played NS 2.0 but tell the the major changes that have occured. I always remember the marines being absolutely fucked once the aliens got the 2nd hive because of the fades.
