The NHL season is upon us..

GO BRUINS! Let's see how Felix the Cat does in his 25th year in the NHL.

Stanley Cup predictions? Avalanche are almost an automatic pick.. but who knows..

Best player in the NHL? Tough decision.. Marcus Nasland would most likely be my pick..

Favorite player? Iginla maybe, Thorton most likely though.

Favorite team? Bruins, duh. Although my liking and interest has wavered recently all due to the Jacobs brothers, my loyalty will never diminish.

Behind them, I'm rooting for the Leafs of course, followed closely by Philly (I know, I know.. but my grandfather is a PY native. )

I can hear it now... "And the Calgary Flames are the 2003-2004 Stanley Cup Champions"

Other than that I really couldn't tell you right now. I don't think any one team is spectacular. The Avs might turn ou to be another NYR.

Best player? Iginla. Hes going to have a season like he did hen he won the race 2 seasons ago. Since the Calgary first line is now complete again with Iginla centering Mcammond who we just got back and Conroy, its going to smoke.

You root for Bruins, then Leafs then followed closely Flyers? Isn't that a cardinal sin?

Leafs, no, not really. Bruins and Leafs don't have a deep history of hatred. I just have a lot of respect for most, if not all Canadian hockey franchises, and a lot of my ancestors just happen to be from the area.

But the Flyers.. that's completely different. I usually can't tell people that I'm secretly rooting for the Flyers within my mind.. and when watching a Flyers game I often shift my eyes, looking for something suspicious..

My grandfather's influence on my favorite sports teams are evident in all forms - Phillies, Flyers, Eagles, and Penn State. :\

Shit, how the hell could I forget to mention PJ Stock..

Now THAT'S a cardinal sin.

Boston loves PJ Stock. Christ, I know I have my PJ STOCK CREW T-shirt, unfortunately I can't wear it to school, apparently "ASS KICKER" written on the back of your shirt isn't appropriate for school.
