Oh my god, this is pissing me off to no end. For some reason every time i go to windowsupdate.com, it says that there was an error in trying to find updates for my machine. I'm not too shabby with comps but i know enough to get along, it seems i don't know what the hell to do right now though. If it helps the file error is, (0x800a138f), i need to fix this fast!

Cut and paste the error number into a google search. It should take you back to a MS help topic.

I finally found the problem, i couldn't download any updates because in the internet options i had no language selected! That's so friggin dumb, anyways when you suggested me copying and pasting the error on google to find a solution, it worked. Thanks for the info, i can finally get updates for my computer.
