I consider my grandpa a hero. Fought for the 101st in WWII in D-Day, Market Garden, and Bastogne. He has 3 purple hearts and 1 bronze star.

Grandmother isnt realy a hero but When I was a Kid, I used to love hearing the storys about the dog fights she watched in the skies in Britain when she was a child. The best one was when she watched a Spitfire Shoot a German fighter down into the near by field. Woulda gave my right big toe to have seen some shit like that. rock:

I know a few people who fought in 'Nam. One guy flew sorties over 'Nam while the others were infantry. The guy i bought my car off of received a metal for shooting a kamakazi during WWll in the Pacific.

Others include friends who helped people in NYC on 9/11.

I consider my Grandfather a hero, though he died when i was young. Fought in the Pacific, joined the army at 16, etc. Great Bloke rock:
