Sleep Deprivation.... what's the longest you've gone... -

What's the longest you've gone without sleep? I've two tests on Friday which I am not ready for; however, I'm inspired by the Navy SEAL Hell Week to pull two consecutive all-nighters. ed:
If the SEALs can go a week without sleep under high stress, then why can't I? (Then again, I'm not a SEAL now am I?) sleeping:

A little over 4 days. I'm not so sure on the exact time for obvious reasons. I can do it again if I need to. I go 1-2 days without sleep about 3-4 times a month.

I hope you mean hours. I believe you die after 17 days of no sleep. Your body needs sleep to recuperate and after 17 days your far enoug hbehind that your body cant catch up and it shuts down permanently. One of my teachers whos in the AF told us this. He said they found out during toture etc. not sure if its 100% correct but can you find someone who has gone that long without 1 second of sleep?
