I swear to god I am at my wits end here. I have people with lesser systems than mine reporting good fps (45+) while I am sitting at 17 fps wtf is going on?!

I got a amd xp1900+ 512 ddr geforce 3 ti500 wtf is with this game??!?! every other game glides on my pc this one is so poor it ruins the fun for me!

And dont mention lowering details if people with slower machines can do it then by god so should I..

Does anyone know WHO I can CONTACT or ANTHING about this at all???

reinstalling the game will come next, but what will that do?

It's odd I play a multi game at some points I am at 100 fps but when I play some maps or some action gets heavy I go from 80 to 17 or less!

What do you think reinstalling will do?

I have the same FPS problems as you. I am running a P3 1Ghrtz 512MB PC800 RDRAM and a 64MB geforce3 Ti 500. I keep all the drivers up to date. I have never had this problem with any other game i.e. Giants, SOF, NOLF, RTCW, etc.

it sounds like you have a software conflict. Reinstalling could help.

well, to be honest, i dont see any problems with software/hardware conflicts etc and updated drivers.
theres nothing wrong with your system ITS THE GAME ** YES THATS RIGHT ^^THE GAME^^ **.

i have a AMD Athlon XP 1600+ with A 64MB KyroII chipset, and i have exactly the same problems. indoors i get anywhere from 80-100 fps, but outside it all falls to pieces. i get about 30-40fps in big areas, and i dont even wanna go to Omaha Beach.

ppl who *CLAIM* they havent been below 45fps are..... how can i put this........ Full Of Shit. if anyone here has not fallen to atleast 20fps on Omaha Beach, ill show my ass in Harrods Window.

i can run every other game smooth and maxed out, without any problems at all except this one (and rtcw is a bit funy with my system too).

just Understand, that its the GAMES FAULT, not your Hardware. there are hundreads of others in the same boat as you, believe me, so take no notice of people saying they havent been below 45fps.

its upto EA to try and sort a patch out if possible, but if not then i suggest they start using New Game Engines for Future releases because personally i think this Engine is an absolute shambles for running Mohaa.

BACK TO ''UNREAL TOURNAMENT'' for ME.

Its odd... I run a 500Mhz Intel Celeron, 96 megs ram, and a VooDoo3 32 MB graphics card... I seem to be getting about 20 - 30 FPS in fire fights, lowest i seem to get, is about 15 FPS, and that doesnt happen offen. You system should be able to handle about 70 FPS in firefights.. The only thing i do befor playing a game, is ctrl-alt-delete and shut down every program exept explorer and system tray. Than i just play, and the game runs fine... I suggest that you try this, if you havnt already. Oh BTW, i run all graphics on medium, 800X600. You may have to turn your graphics down a bit, if you are running too high. I really hope this helps man...

And please dont say that im full of shit, cause im telling the truth..

My sys:

Dual Athlon 1800
Tyan Tiger Mobo
512mb DDR (going to 1GB DDR ECC Registered once I get home and get my mail )
GeForce3 w/ 21.81 driver from 09/01 (the new 23.11 detonator gives me a parity error and BSOD)
SB Live 5.1
Win2k Sp_2

I turned all the bells and whistles on, running 32-bit 1280X1024, Trilinear w/ texture compression. I'm getting a slowdown in open areas and during big firefights. It's not too bad, but I wish it wasn't like this. I also see a lot of graphical errors...like occasionally if I peek around a wall, some textures won't be loaded, etc.

I'm going to try w/out texture compression. Maybe also turn off some extras (detailed smoke, etc).

Oh, and why do explosions look so pixelated and nasty?! Is that just me? After RtCW I was in awe of a great fire effect...MOH fire/explosions seem to suck, unless it's just me...

Ya its gonna come down to shotty mapping on the mappers from 2015.
Thats it
Plus you need one hell of a rig to run this game.
The 2 maps which are worst for me are omaha and the bridge or crossraods in DM.
Almost unplayable IMO

I hope EA does something about this soon, cause its gettin on my nerves. LoL

I run a p3 800 512 megs and gf2 gts/ultra 32, runs every game ive played fuggin great
but these 2 maps absolutly kill my computer.

I love the game though and am leaving my trust in EA to come up with a fix for this. And I also want to say to all you mappers out there , get mapping ma bois cause we need more obj maps and a few of those DM deserve to go.
Okay Ttyl peepz later

P.S.

Anyone who is on irc.enterthegame.com come to #unity and chill and maybe we can get some pickup games going or whatnot. My caln is also recruiting for MOH ladder play on CAL, so if yer east and want to be part of a growing clan give us a shout.

Alright im done

Peace

dammit!! and I was hoping the full version would be better than the sp demo!!! I haven't got the game yet, but the sp demo was crap on my system, p3600 + Geforce3 @ 230/470 Mhz! I can't believe this. Yes it is more likely to be related to the game itself, not the system at all. Compared to RTCW.. oh man It doesn't even get close to it in terms of FPS. Note: I'm talking about having all settings maxed out @ 1027x768.

well.....it seems that people are having problems running this game, where some are not having any problems..in example, my clan mate runs a geforce 3 with 64 megs..and his chugs down, where as I am running a geforce 2 gts 32 meg and to be honest with you, running at 1078 res..it runs perfectly on mine...I don't really want the resolution higher than that anyways..I think everyone should run it at 1024 anyways..seeing as that is a standard resolution for 19 inch monitors anyhow..and you don't really notice that much of a difference..regardless, I have a geforce 2, like I said, and AMD 1.33 and it runs smooth like butter on mine, even Omaha..my suggestion, would be to go down on the resolution, and turn the shadows right off..see if that works
