Uhh.

Just grab a 1 pixel brush, hold shift and draw a line.

define a dot as a pattern. a 1 pixel dot

then right click on the layer and pattern fill it with that do.

so mahy tyuts google it.

he doesnt know what the scan lines are called how is he going to search for it.

that's called a stroke.

here:

first, click that little F, at the bottom of the layers window. Than after you click that, click blending options. Than you'll see a window pop up, find stroke. That person had it set to an outside stroke of 1 pixel, color'd black on that layer.

Stroke will outline shit. It's extremely useful. It sucks when using it on images with mixed opacities.

It's probably used in every sig you see on here in one way or another. look at soldat's text, it's outlined with that 1 black pixel, that's a stroke.
