Me and a couple of friends and random drunk guy at this years powder puff game, ya u know when upper classmen girls play football against the underclassmen girls...good times. We got drunk before we showed up to the game and had a great time (after party rocked) but ya im in 0 in the blue shorts if u dont me by now. im gonna miss shit like this...
but anyways...
You know, today was it...the day we dream about since we pretty much start school, the last day of high school. I remember I've always waited for it and counted the days till i was finally free...but this last week and especially today, it really started to sink in...that it was really over, and that I wouldnt see half these people ever again. People I've known and gone to school with since elementry and middle school, that might not have been close friends that I hung out with, but you know were still people u knew and said
"hi" to in the halls and talked with in class I won't see again for a long time if at all. Some people didnt see it like this cause they werent going far from home and pretty much all of my friends are either going to uf, usf, or fsu only a few hours drive apart, so they wouldnt be that far from each other. I'm going to the citadel and from there the military...i only come home a few times a year , and then i go back. its hard to believe that I'm going to be leaving behind pretty much my entire childhood and begin a whole new chapter in my life, i look back at where i was 10 years from now...an 8 year old with not a care in the world who hated girls and naptime and now i look back today and realize the 2 things i hated the most then were the 2 things i enjoy the most now, and that time really flew by...i can only imagine how diferent things are gonna be 10 years from now. So basicly the purpose of this whole rant is to congradulate the fellow members of the class of 04 here and offer this bit of advice to all the little 14, 15, and 16 year old kids running around here: you may hate high school now, and think you wont give a fuck about leaving it and all the people you went to school with, but trust me you will. Enjoy your remaining time in high school and try to have as much fun as you can, because before you know it, you'll be graduating and everything will be diferent....and you'll miss the familiar faces of school.

Yea cry: i miss our old table where we all hung out, Highschool was the best part of all school. Never again will you have times like you did in HS cry: It was a feeling of im not responsible for anything, and who gives a fuck, but after HS all that changes.

Aye I missed it all too, but what I missed most was the sense of order. When I became a student there wasn't anyone telling me to do my homework. I didn't have to do it & I didn't have to go to classes. It was all up to me. One of the reasons I want to join the military is to get that 'sense of order' back. It's nice to have some sense of direction & control in life, school provided that. But when I became a student it all just crumbled away, I wasn't part of anything anymore & I lost the sense of belonging to something big.

High School was pretty fun for me. It's really odd though now. The people I thought I'd still be hanging out with I don't and the people I never talked to in school are the people I hang out with now and consider good freinds.

I'm really fortunate to have had a close group of friends in high school, many of which I see regularly. Same with university.
Friends and family are all you have, mang. Don't take that shit for granted...ever.
Oh, and congratz. beer:

I just turned 30 and I still hang out with all of the people that I hung out with in high school. We didn't even go to our reunion because, why? Anyone that I wanted to see, I probably saw the weekend before at the bar.
