Default writing - 05-25-2004, 04:06 AM

I was wondering what the best way to write on a skin for the best looking effect ive tried just writing on it but it looks out of place is there a filter i can use or somthing oOo:

eek: ooo u are very witty now answer my question sheesh whats the best way to get the best looking writing on clothes in my texture.

I found the only way is trial and error. Can't be too big, can't be too small of a font size. Try not to use font styles that are to "compact"

For example:

the font style I used for the jersey numbers on this Vikings mod was Impact; the font is basic straight lines and well spaced. The backs of the NFL jersey skin mods I make all have a name of some sort on them and again I've used Impact that seems to come out the best and clearest for the area used (across the shoulders)

I've also tried to find small .jpeg images with the words or letters allready in them and then cut and layer them onto the .tga
