That doesnt matter most of the time.
Some games are just incompatible with some graphics cards.
I cant remember the reason for that glitch though...

Tony's right. That game is graphically intense and demands a good video card. Why not up-date your card in anticipation for HL2 and DOOM 3? You'll then be able to play A.A. without any problems.

Usually for graphics glitches you should take a look at your advanced display properties and enable/disable some stuff like for example 'enable fog table emulation', i remember disabling that for Far Cry and GTA3 and it worked fine afterwards.

Soz couldn't solve it for ya,
Good luck

Aye, i had huge glitches like that in mohaa, and switching to the 44.04 drivers seemed to fix it. fuck around, try different drivers.

That fog emulation is for Direct3D only, doesnt affect OpenGL.

im having similiar problems with my gf4 ti4600. which ran cod fine at maxed graphics. until i did a reformat and fresh xp reinstall last week. now cod is barely playable. the lag is RIDICULOUS. i even lowered all the settings to the lowest at 800x600 rez and it still lagged like shit. its fucked up too cuz just last week i had been playin the game maxed out. stupid:

perhaps i will try rolling back the nvidia drivers like strvs said.
