well ofr reasons beyond my comprehension, MOHAA will run on one of my comps but not on the other. I get this error:

MOHAA caused an invalid page fault in
module NVOPENGL.DLL at 0167:69726368.

256 MB PC133 RAM
MSI GeForce 3 64MB Grfx card
Sound Blaster 16 PCI sound card
Western Digital 20GB 7200RPM hrddrv
a Cable modem connection in a PCI NIC
all wallowing in the OS of Dewm that is Win98SE

I have tried the never dial a connection fix that was supposed to help with the crashing but that has done nothing. the Computer it RUNS on has these specs:

Duron 750 on a Biostar MoBo
GeForce 256 DDR w/32MB RAM
256MB PC100 RAM
Sound Blaster 16 on the ISA
56K Modem
Western Digital 20GB 7200 RPM HrdDrv

any help would be appreciated. . .$50 bones for a game that only works on SOME systems is well . . .frustrating at best.

Well by the looks of your system dump
**
module NVOPENGL.DLL at 0167:69726368
**
This could be caused by a video driver or DirectX version
I would update one at a time to see what fixes it. I would make sure DirectX is installed with the latest version then try the game if that fails try the latest video drives.

A good reboot after updating any drives should always be done. Even if the updated drivers don't automatically tell you to

Good Luck

even after install of Dx8.1 and the latest official detonators (23.11) it still give nvopengl.dll as the problem. I have tried to swap out the nvopengl.dll from the latest betas (23.12) but upon loading the level MOH just locked up (total system hang-up)

thanx for the advice though
