You definately need sleep before a test. Your brain wont be able to function. SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP whenever you can. Sleep is one of the best things ever.

Learn a bit then take a nap. You'll assimilate more material...

and get all your answers from the AA.com BrainsTrust...eh?... eek:

seriously, take my advice ive been in the same boat...you should just stay up and buy some red bull or something and chug it right before the test...if u sleep now on only 3 hours of sleep you will not be able to get up or if u do its gonna be real hard. right before i graduated i stayed up all night to do a whole 9 weeks worth of math homework the night before my last day of school so i could pass. and since ive graduated, ive stayed out partying almost everynight and whenever i have to work in the morning i just say fuck it and dont sleep, you can go 1 night with no sleep and still be fine.

I have not had a wink a sleep since 1931, when I drank some Opossum milk which caused me to pass out. Anyways, you do not need sleep, if you saty awake and keep busy you will not even think about it.

different things work for different people. Usually when you sleep it is kinda like defragging a harddrive, the information is sorted out and you can remember it long term alot better, if you need info for a short term test or something then by all means stay up all night and cram.

If you're going to sleep at all, study right BEFORE you sleep. My mother is a teacher and she goes to these conferences and they discussed how the mind will "replay", if you will, the nearest memory over and over again while you sleep. It works pretty well for me when I only get 4 hours of sleep.

Or learn a bit than walk away and do something else and let the material sink it for about 10 mins.
