Gold lettering for a welcome?

Default Gold lettering for a welcome? - 06-12-2004, 10:11 PM
How do i get gold lettering to come up when somebody enters my server to say"welcome to my server"but only for the person who entered and not everybody.ive seen it on other servers.also when you die its says in gold...attack or better luck next time.how is that done?

Or I think if you have CI you can just open it up and put in the auto messages you want.

edit the localization files as far as editing the welcome message. i'm not sure about the gold letteirng though.

I am a real noob i know some of the basics but thats it. Have you tried TMT's scripting forum?

im pretty good at scripting, but lets get back on topic here. if u edit the localization.txt the text will change to what u want it to say. for the gold, check the .urc files in MOHAA/main/pak0.pk3/ui folder. if u find something that relates to the opening message, then change the bg fg color to differnt numbers. just test different things
