Default Want advice for mouse for MOHAA - 08-22-2004, 01:44 PM

I use logitech's MX310 mouse.

I've had many trouble especially with leaning in MOHaa.

Now I want to buy another mouse.

Positive about the MX310 is the fact that it has a left and right sidebutton that can be programmed as keystrokes (for example z and c). This way they can be used for leaning.

Good and bad experiences with mouses are welcome.

I read 'bout the MS Intellimouse explorer and also the Logitech MX510.
Both these mice have two buttons on the thumbside (for righthanded person).
Is that comfortable for leaning, both leanbuttons on the same side???

What about Terratec's boomslang 2100??
Anyone experience with this one?

I also use the Mx-310, I've got two of them and the only prblem I've ever had was with the micro-switches going bad. I replaced them with some switchs from an old H-P mouse (made by Logitech) and haven't had any problems since. I set my side switchs to backspace and page down because those keys are very useful in other programs. Then set those keystrokes as the second key for each funtion. Good luck.

Do you use the side buttons of the MX510 for leaning in MOHaa?

If so, do you use your thumb for both buttons, as they are placed on the same side of the mouse?

Is that comfortable?
