when i got the game, doom (original one), the store guy told me not to play it in the dark for more than half an hour, alone, or with a projector screen. he said you get sick to the stomach if you do. did anyone else hear this or get the warning?

cause i tried it, and playing doom in the dark fer a long time did get me sick..

I got the original Doom two weeks after it was released and played it on my 486 from Midnight until 6am everyday until I beat it. I never got sick... just really, really scared.

a few yrs ago i started thinkin about a doom3, but the story i had was completely different than the new one...the new one seems like a redo of the old one, same type of story--but then again i dont have it cuz my vid card FUCKING CHOMPS

I played the original game for hrs on end and never once felt sick. Maybe wanted to shoot something, but never felt sick....lol.

You gotta remember something though.....i'm used to fishing in 6-10 foot seas so nothing bothers me. i'll even eat a greasy egg sandwich before hitting the water!
