Default Modifying Clip Sizes - 09-02-2004, 10:14 PM

I need some help. I'm trying to modify clip sizes on guns but I don't know how. I've been reading some posts but they don't explain it all. Can someone give me some info or point me in the right direction? Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Clip size as in how many bullets the gun can hold? If so, i think its in the .tik file of each weapon.

Right, I've been messing around with the tik files, but when I do, the file doesn't seem to work. Goes back to standard clip size. I'm trying to modify a sniper rifle for more then 5 shots.

now that I think of it, I'm not going into great depth on what I want. I want to make it client side just when I'm playing single player for a clip size like say 15. I want to also change the display of shells. I'd also like to change the reload/fire rate, but lets jump one hurdle at a time.

Thanks

OK! Before I commit suicide, its Clips and Magazines! CLIPS & MAGAZINES! The clip was used in the enfield, the mauser, and in the m1 garand, those are the only weapons, the rest have a magazine, oh and thew mg42 is belt fed. So please use the right grammar, thanks. happy:

ps: Im not the one who should be telling people to use the right grammar eh freak:

Well, thanks for the english lesson. I modified my MAGAZINE size by using PakScape. Only problem was I couldn't edit the .tik file from inside. I had to drag it onto my desk top, deleted the one out of the PakScape viewer, modify stuff on the desktop then drag it back to the folder. Only problem I encountered with that was if you started out with 5 shells, it defaulted to that, no matter what the magazine size is. That part I never understood why it was doing that, so I just set the start ammo to 0, then you reload it to desired ammount. This also was the case for changing stuff like fire rate and damage ammounts.

BTW, check any of your .tik files. They all say 'clip'. So, thanks for the lesson. Maybe you should take your gripe up with EA. the_finger:
