I don't know what it is about this game, I have never been addicted to a game ,like I am to this one. Multiplayer + Single Player give tons and tons of time worth of play, Its always new, feels realistic in the sense of how the combat goes about. This game needs more attention/fans. It deserves it rock: rock:

ayah its awesome. but i just stopped playing it one day after playing for about a week straight. kind of got repetitive. i never finished my campaign. i got too big and couldn't control all my provinces. they all went into revolt and i decided to start over. on my second game i only got 20 or so years in.

I have conqured / beaten the campeign as the Julii, Brutii & Britania. Doing a Egypt & Carthage one now. Carthage is hard as fucking hell, your only hope is to abandon sicily, reinforce Thapus, then take numidia fast. With Egypt its all about building alliances, building up your wealth & hireing mercenarys to do your dirty work. Its a really in depth game, hard as hell to play & micro manage your territories. (might i suggust) ninty turning on the auto manage option, assing governers to all your places and let them settle it.

You should try Hearts of Iron or Victoria... or maybe any other Paradox game.

it was a great game, but i just didnt like it all that much, too much strategy going into the fighting, not enough into the planning/production (as with other RTS games) its all a preference thing

Love the game.

I played medieval total war quite a lot.
Usually won by diplomacy and agents in medieval.

I'm sure most of you could own me on any FPS.

But RTS... you're in my domain here kiddo.

Actually, I would be less effective in the Total War series, where it's not a resource gathering / building contest; But thou shall get your ass handed back to you in a plastic bag o' spankage if you play me.

So ugh, care to get a game going sometime guys? All my friends & colleagues are tired of ganging up against me and still get their asses spank: spank: spank:

hellfire:
