What yall think about them?

(aroudn here "ITEDS"=iowa test of basic skills" )

i hate them, and think theyre a horrible way of measuring someones learning capabilities... even though i got a perfect on all of them since 6th grade


ive seen smart people bomb and stupid people do awesome... and think the tests are no good

I do think we should have some sort of test. Though I do not think they should count as to wheter a kid will graduate from high school. That is just wrong.

indeed. We have the Gateways in Nashville. oOo: . and like 10 others that are just there to measure how well we r doing. it is all crap even though i miss like one question on the test.

we have PSSA's here in Pennsyvania (Pennsylvania's Standardized Student Assesments) I think that's what it stands for, I hate them too.

We used to take the stanford 9 tests. They were insanely hard. I usually only got into the 80th percentile. They got rid of those and we took the WESTESTS last year and they were very easy and i ended up with pefect score in 3 out of 4 subjects and missed 2 questions in the other.

We have SOLs (Standards of learning or AKA as my teacher called it "Shit out of luck")we have to pass 9 in our HS career to pass HS. But when i graduated we didnt ahve to pass any...we were the least year that didnt ahve to, poor fuckers after us had to.

ya I flat lucked out back in 8th grade by not showing up for them. then sophmore year I took them and did ok. that was the last one until the SAT's which blows but in the end is useless because you can go to the shitiest college on earth, get good grades and transfer to harvard.
