[quote:b3626]HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (Dec. 26, 2004) -- Reggie White, one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history, died the day after Christmas, his wife said. He was 43.
"Today our beloved husband, father and friend passed away," White's wife, Sara, said in a statement through a family pastor. "His family appreciates your thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of Reggie White. We want to thank you in advance for honoring our privacy."

Damn, that's a shame. RIP Minister of Defense.
From ESPN.com...................
"Through the family pastor, Sara White confirmed her husband's death, saying that she believes White died of respiratory failure related to his sleep apnea. An autopsy is to be performed to determine the exact cause of death."

Shame, his nephew goes to my H.S. and he lived about 10 min. from my house. Was a great football player and will always be remembered.

He refused to play more games, so the NFL, with their advanced technology, turned off his liver with a remote.
