Default problems with autokick - 02-21-2005, 08:32 AM

A few months back I was trying to install crowking's auto kick but it wouldn't quite make it, but the attempts did leave my computer thinking that it did install (apparently) as there are 2 listings under "add and remove programs" on my Winxp computer. When I click to unintstall either, I get a "could not open logfile c:/programfiles/autokick/ST6unst.000" (that's not exact, but close enough) message. Yet each instance also shows the full autokick program name, used "frequently" and 17 MB in size! Furthermore, they seem to show a different icon each time I look. I suspect this is causing other problems on my computer as well. How do I get this off?
oOo:
I did redownload the program today, had a successfull install and run, then uninstalled, but those two instances are still there under "add and remove programs"

I've scoured all online and included info I could find, but to no avail. I checked for the registry files as indicated in one spot, and they aren't there.

Help!

Third party add/remove programs tend to take programs out better than Windows. Try that, or sometimes Windows does give you the option to delete it from the programs list.

If it's not installed at all....search the registry for inserts....just delete them!
