Desert Combat (aka GAME ON 2k5) -

So, i've been waiting for Battlefield 2 (so shoot me)
And now it's delayed until may. I dub it Half Life 2 returns...
I've been playing over Desert Combat mod for 1942 lately, i dunno HOW i looked it over in the first place! Solid maps, good gameplay, at very least some kickass player models, even if it seems pretty stacked for the spec-ops class...
Anyone else here DC it? I noticed a few people mentioned it in the "what are you playing thread", who wants to get a game going? Whats your favourite part of the game?
Alternative topic: Man how much ass does RE-4 still stomp after like 2 months of being on the market...waht a kickass game...

Yes it fucking is and its going to kick ass. I've been playing DC for years now and I never really get sick of it, same goes for bf1942.
Lately I've played some fantastic maps, varieties of custom-made and official, and I end up playing for hours. Thats what I like about it; the map design, the weapons, the sounds, the overall gameplay, its just totally solid.

Holy shit...i completely forgot there are zones outside of offtopic...
Either way, they're filled with homos. And robots. And wizard-ninjas...
The point is - SWITCH TO ALTERNATIVE TOPIC!!!!
Seriously, RE4 is too kickass. If you havn't unlocked the Thompson SMG yet, you havnt LIVED.
And the maps are god in DC...god.
Now all i need is sloi to pop in with "GOSH! ... What were you THINKING!!!!"

Dc is ok but its far too airpower dominated, its rare to see an abrams or a t72 skooting along without a helo or a plane up its ass bombing\missiling the ever loving shit out of it.
b2 appears to be more balanced though so happy:
