Its decent so far i suppose, the ai is pretty stupid though, sometimes they "take cover" and are completly out in the open. Firing in iron sights is like sniping in cod x100 times more annoying, plenty of times ive obviously hit the target but nothing happened, hitting shots seems to be pretty luck based, unless theyre standing perfectly still and are close most hits seem to be luck.

This however must be the first ww2 game out of the box that actually lets the garand reload mid clip and doesn't stick to that annoying friggin myth that it couldn't be reloaded midclip.

Graphics aren't all that special, textures seem pretty blurred, thats the tradeoff for it being on xbrick and pos2 as well though. Had been a straight pc game id say it would have looked much better.

In all the screens shots the graphics look burly and out of focus, pre-mohaa like, yet IGN gave the game 9/10 in that category. That doesn’t make sense. Anyway the gameplay looks amazing so I’m gonna pick it on the weekend.

I've only played it for about 10 minutes, but i'm not really all that impressed. To tell you the truth, it feels exactly the same as MOH and every other WWII FPS.

Another dumb thing is its capped at around 35fps. Ive a p4 running at 4ghz and an x800xt-pe and this game which looks like ass graphically refuses to go faster than 30 odd fps. eek: stupid: It does spike upto 50 occasionally, im assuming the fps cap was something that was introduced for the consoles..again.

The official forums seem to be going mad, heres a good example:

[quote:ef777]Is it just me or does everyone else have the slowest load times EVER? I mean I literally have to wait for like 5 minutes for each load, maybe a little longer. When I die I have to load again, and it takes just as ****ing long. I thought Far Cry/Doom 3 had slow load times but this is ****ing rediculous. At least it is justifiable with those games because they actually had good graphics - I mean why in the **** should it take this long to load low res textures and seemingly low poly models. I am at a loss. My system specs are: XP 3200+, GIG of RAM, 9800Pro, 7200rpm SATA drive.[/quote:ef777]

biggrin: Funny, the maps take about 10 secs for me at most. Now if i could just take this damn farmhouse... cuss:

I like the game. I agree the graphics aren't top of the line, but they do get the job done. I also love the squad based gameplay. This game doesn't play anything like moh or cod, it's something new and it's fun.

At first I was discouraged by the aiming, I couldn't hit shit, but now I'm doing a little better. Also, Try playing some mp for a bit, the game really grows on ya.

If you don't like a game, so be it. We probably couldn't change your mind ... we won't even try.

However, just because you don't like a game doesn't mean you have to start to derail every thread there is about it. We don't want another Pyro running around in the cod section here...

Just keep it shut and stay out if you don't like it.
