Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead) is to direct and develop Rainbow Six, based on the Tom Clancy novel, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The story centers on a CIA operative who leaves the agency to create a British-based antiterrorism squad. [/quote:6c1b0]
Good news - I'd rather have him direct then John woo...

I liked Dawn of the Dead, but it truthfully wasnt all too good a movie. Neither was it scary.

Why do directors always feel the need to totally revitalize the plot? I mean, this is pretty damn close, but dont they ever consider that making their movie just like the book will make fans a lot happier and more willing to go out and see it instead of wait for it to come out on video?
I read around 2/3 of the book, then had to return it to the library. I bought my own used-copy though..havent gotten to reading it yet. Tied over with other books..
...god dammit, rice just fell in my keyboard.

They should have multiple directors... Tom Hanks, Steven Speilberg, John Woo, Paul Anderson, Zack Snyder, Matt Groening, Quentin Tarantino, Ron Howard, Tim Burton, Tom Savini, George Romero, and the Wachowski Bros.

I use to really want one of these movies, but now I figure it will suck. Oh well, Homer Johnson was always my favorite character, if he is in it, then yea I might just watch it.

What do you know. Homer is so bad, he can ruin almost 75 miles. I have seen him do it.
