Car Shopping... -

Well, I have some extra scratch laying around and I'm thinking of dropping it on leasing a car. I'm looking for a compact-mid-range sedan or coupe that is under $20,000 (cdn). Gotta have good fuel economy and decent power to get up those icy hills in the winter. Must include a block heater and air condition. What you y'all recommend?

I don't know, but at the end of the lease you end up paying more for a lease and still don't have a car.

If you have a lot lying around, save up and buy the car with cash. The interest will bite you in the ass.

Lol, I'm not rich. I'll take me a decade to save up $20,000.

I was looking at a Civic earlier today. It seems like a possiblity, but I wanna know what else is out there. I don't know too much about the newer cars.

Re-mortgage your house... if you own one.

Can't go wrong with a typical Corolla....Cheap, reliable...I'm on my second in a row, and I have to say it's a great model....

Thank you...
In that case I'd go for a Toyota Corrola, or maybe a used Nissan Altima. My dad got one for about $17k with a 3500 trade in, but I'm sure you'd be able to pick one up with low miles for that price.
Are you going towards something new or used? Also, you want just a fwd car or are you looking for awd (subaru) which get decent gas milage.
