Default seatbelts - 06-09-2005, 02:48 AM

i always buckle up, not just because i might get a ticket, just because if i did get in an accident there is a larger chance of living thru it if i had it on

and yes i've heard that seatbelts have actually killed people before.....but it's saved more than it's killed...

Pretty stupid not to. Not like they prevent you from doing anything.

I don't wear one when I'm in the back of a car.

I don't see why anyone wouldn't wear one in the front, unless they are giving road head.

I don't even think about it, total habit, as soon as I get in the car - it's on, I feel naked without it - Like I'm forgetting something......KEVIN@>?!

We have one of the worst road tolls in the world as a country...So we've been drowned for just over a decade, in terrifically violent ads depicting what happens when you don't wear a seat belt, speed, drink drive, stop at redlights, brake before corners, or the latest, if you don't give way correctly at intersections....It's been implanted in my brain as they had some pretty shocking ads...

I wear it 100% of the time as do all my passengers (sometimes I let the adults in the 2nd or 3rd row of seats go without but that is within the law)

BTW I hope its obvious I drive a van

Always. I also feel naked without it...due to the fact that I'm usually naked from the waist down when I'm in the car. ed:
