Default Monitor Problems - 06-20-2005, 05:38 PM

I have a Gateway EV730 CRT 17inch monitor, came with a package bought approximately 2 1/2 years ago. All of a sudden the bottom half of the screen seems rather blurry (no it's not just me, I have had multiple people comment). The monitor is running at 60hz and if I bump it up anymore the screen shakes a bit.

Not sure what I can do, I'd prefer not to talk to customer support, besides it's not like it's under warranty anymore. It's been working perfectly up until now. The brightness and contrast are on the same levels as usual and make it worse if I adjust them even more.

Any suggestions?
