WinRar -

I have a bin file that is compressed in winrar over many files. Its about 4.6 Gb in size (yes its a movie). Anyway I try to extract it in winrar and it says the file is to big to extract and I need to use NTFS. So I researched NTFS and learned that I can't use it on an operating system lower than windows 2000. I have ME so I am fucked there. Does anybody know a way I could extract it without converting to xp. Your help would be appreciated very much.

No (unless I'm misunderstanding you) because when you put it back together the file's still going to be larger than 4GB. hake:

Oops I misspoked. I meant to say is there a way I could split it in two and then be able to extract the files from the bin while it is seperated. Im sure someone else has thought of it. It might be possible.
One involving men and women smearing shit over each other.
And once again, geRV's depraved mind is exposed for all to see. annoy:[/quote:1cce2]

[quote="Cool Fool":d7d44]whats the max file size for NTFS?[/quote:d7d44]
If you're using NTFS then you're limited by the size of the volume you're creating the file on. Example: If you have a 60GB drive, and you haven't partitioned it, you'd be able to create a file close to 60GB in size (60GB minus the space used by your OS and program files, porn etc)
