everyday i have to wake up at 4:30 am to go to a place i call hell. Helpdesk tech support for not a very nice person in the NYC transit is wearing me down. These f**k are the most ignorant and needy people on the planet.
NYCTA jerkoff: "Where the hell is my technician i have been calling for 3 days so far i have so much work to do blah blah blah"
Me: And for the past 3 days ive told you I DONT KNOW WHERE HE OR ANY OTHER TECHNICIAN IS YOU f**k, YOU DONT CALL THIS LINE TO GET AN ETA DAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...
*static*
NYCTA jerkoff: hello????? man f**k you guys
By the time i get home from work i am so tired i fall asleep thus my social life fades away even more. Its only paying 10 bucks an hour too Right after work today i am going to make a push to find a job that i would enjoy coming to each day, even if it pays less.
/me waits for you all to say suck it up you bitch plzdie:

I feel for ya man, I work in a shop and get shit off customers usually about papers not having arrived at their houses. cuss:
I just give it back to them, once they start shouting and cursing. My manager just shruggs it off when they complain and says to them shout at my staff and they'll shout back biggrin: I used to just take the cursing and be polite towards them, then I realised I dont deserve being spoken to like that so give it back. Obviously you prolly get more shit than I do and would get fired for giving the shit back like I do, so just quit and look for a different job.

Here is a very harsh reality for you. Very few people experience the phenomena known as "job satisfaction." I doubt you'll have very good luck finding a job that really makes you happy. The things you can get happiness from in life are your family and friends. Don't expect your job to be the self-actualizing thing many people make it out to be. Here's a good article I read on this last month:

Try being a Pharmacy Technicial at a drug store (CVS, etc). All you have to do is get a simple license that anybody can get, and then get trained. All you have to do is stand around all day until somebody comes in and needs a refill or a new perscription. You don't fill their perscription, all you do icount the tablets and put the labels on. You need to know the answers to typical questions about the different medications. Typical pay ranges from $10-$12 an hour. My friend is doing it and says it's great.

I guess I'm lucky that if someone starts giving me lip while I'm doing my job, I can just stick a gun in their face.

My system administrator job is very nice at the moment, although boring at times due to lack of anything to do... which is kinda my fault now that I think about it. Thank IKEA you guys are here for me... right ? Right ? I'm so lonely... cry:
