Default U.S. Raids Militant Stronghold in Iraq - 09-13-2005, 05:26 PM

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050913/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq

"The enemy here did just the most horrible things you can imagine — in one case murdering a child, placing a booby trap within the child's body and waiting for the parent to come recover the body of their child and exploding it to kill the parents; beheadings and so forth," Col. H.R. McMaster, commander of the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, said in an interview from Tal Afar with reporters at the Pentagon"

wouldnt be no militant stronghold in Tal Afar or children being used as booby traps if Iraq wasnt invaded in the first place

Nope.

Those civilians in Tal Afar, Al-Qaim and so on would be living on their normal live's but now their homes have become targets because of the insurgents that have arisen due to the direct invasion of Iraq.

Isnt it normal for troops to come into countries to halt civil wars, not cause them?

yeah the iraqi army was crushed , its the terrorist scum that is coming in from syria and iran that is causing all the problems trying to incite a civil war. its ok the new iraq army is starting to come around , over 400 insurgents arrested in past week.

its mostly iraqis whom are the insurgents that want the american/uk/etc troops out of their country.

If you provoke (which america did by invading iraq) you will get a reaction (insurgents)

and 400 insurgents is nothing...

plus i wonder how many innocent civilians were killed in the seek to arrest all these insurgents.

seriously, it could be so easy to shoot a civilian that APPEARS to have a weapon than an insurgent. oOo:

that's really one reason i wouldn't want to go to IRaq, i wouldn't want to shoot someone more innocent then another.. or something =\

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A dozen explosions ripped through the Iraqi capital in rapid succession Wednesday, killing at least 152 people and wounding 542 in a series of attacks that began with a suicide car bombing that targeted laborers assembled to find work for the day. Al-Qaida in

I was watching an interview with an Iraqi insurgent, and he said that all the radicals are from other countries and the all the Iraqi insurgents want to nagotiate. He also said that the "New Recruits" who join the insurency will join the forgein fighters because the forgein fighters are the ones killing the americans

This is what happens when you wage war on a country for no justifiable reason.

The same thing happened to the Soviets in Afghanistan and the US in Vietnam, so why would anyone expect otherwise in this war? We wont win this war by occupying a country that receives its aid and reinforcements from surrounding countries and within its own borders. Iraq did not turn out to be the stepping stone that some people thought it would. Pakistan and Iran are still safespots for terrorists, no matter how much money we throw at the Generalisimo. Not to mention Indonesia, Africa and cells in Europe and America. Iraqi National Guard = South Vietnamese Army. The moment we withdrawl, all hell is gonna break loose and theyre gonna fold the moment the insurgents get resupplied.

after the Gulf War Sadaam Insane agreed with the UN to have inspectors and many other things, he broke almost every single promise and the UN had no balls to back it up so the US did. I am tired of this unjustifiable BS. The UN should have gone in there way before we did but they were making too much money fron Sadaan Insane to go against him. The Insane one paid them off just so he could break every promose he made with the world. I am ashamed to be part of the UN. I wish the US would pull out of it and send all of thier delegates out of the country. Make them set up shop in France, that way the payoffs wont have to travel as far.

I can’t remember reading it in the news; I must have been washing my hair when they announced it.

no WMDs were found, as you know. It is about much more than that though, as you should know. It is about his violations. Pure and simple but the rest of the world would has its head too far in the sand or they are too busy taking money from the UN and Sadaam Insane, there is a huge cover up that is just started to get uncovered. i can wait to see when it comes out that the inspectors were on the take too. It so so deep (the coverups) that it ia amazing. People lining thier pockets at the cost of the world
