Ok so i went to wake my PC up from sleep mode last night....and when i moved the mouse the screen stayed black. I hit keys on my keyboard, nothing, reboooted nothing. So i switched out monitors...nothing. I put a new vid card in...nothing....any ideas? Maybe the HD is fucking dead?

Might be dead cpu... Two of my friends have had that problem with DOA cpus. Mobo lights turn on but no vid output. RMAed it and it worked fine.

You wouldn't happen to have another CPU that you could test it with? Or know someone with a similar computer, at least same socket.

try to remove the battery and see if itll boot. you can also try to reseat the power cable on the motherboard. also, if you have switch on your power supply try flipping that fuker a few times on and off, and powering up a few times.
you can also remove all connection - video card and try to boot and see what happens. if you are able to boot, add 1 thing at a time booting until it stops and you could find your problem.
