I put the music onto the ipod and it says its on the ipod in itunes but when i try to listen to it i hear nothing. wtf?

meh, i didnt want it, just got it as a birthday gift. and it doesnt have to be random, u can just play the songs in order if u want to.

not sure about the shuffle but if you dont unmount the mini it will sometimes fuk up and you wont be able to play it ... formatting might not be a bad idea. with the mini you can reboot it which sometimes fixes most shit ... check your documentation and see if you can reboot it.
