Default A couple colour swaps. - 01-18-2006, 01:03 AM

Well, for one of my classes, our prof asked us to modify the colour on a photo, whether it be a shirt, or statue, car ect.

look cool, u did a great job on the blue car, but for some reason it just doesnt seem real to me, prob cause not many colors have that shade of a blue?

the second you basically desaturated the whole car except the windows, look at the lights, the alloys and so on, bit shoddy.

Granted details on first image of the convertable are decent, but changing 1 colour area on this seems a little tame compared to a full colourize of a b&w image.

i painted the 2nd cav a silver colour, a pure desaturation would have looked like this (below), so it is not quite just a desat on the body and rims (i painted the tims to a light silver gunmetal, instead of the stock dark gunmetal.
