I'm not sure what is going on here but it is definately intersesting.

Was Janet Jones gambling his money away without his knowledge or what?

Was Tocchet?

Was Wayne himself?

Hockey doesen't need this kind of exposure whatever the case may be.

Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

Here is a link for those who are interested.

so what if he was gambling, it was never on Hockey(allegedly) The whole problem is the fact that the guidos were brought in on it.

it would be a huge fucking shame if it comes out that they were betting on hockey and Gretz gets "pete rosed"

Pete Rose never bet against his own team, and he still got banned.

They were. It's still illegal in the States to do so outside of a sactioned institution (as far as I know). It's especially illegal to do it with mobsters.

Actually, I don't think that was ever proven, thats what he claims.

Let them do whatever they want their money, it's theirs. As long as its not betting on hockey.

I'm pretty sure they interviewed all the bookies and everything and they said that he didn't ever bet against his own team.
