This tuesday coming up i'm going on a 2 day trip with my outdoor ed class and I have my old canvas military backpack but it's been sitting in a barrack box for about 10 years, and it's MOLDY, I need to clean it but I don't know how or what to do??

depends how moldy it is. What I do if any of my camping stuff gets moldy, I just run it through the wash. You will probably have to scrub by hand for a while. If you can spare a few bucks just go rent a backpack from somewhere.

so there should be no problem throwing it in the wash? and scrubbing by hand i don't mind, I really need this pack, its the only pack I can find big enough to hold all my gear.

There shouldn't be a problem.

washing it will be fine. unless it has so much mildew on it that when it gets washed the fabric tears apart.
If the trip is just two days why do you need a ton of gear?

you can ditch the saw, just bring the axe. dont pack a ton of clothes. when I go camping I just bring an extra pair of socks and an extra shirt.
