Royal Guard = 2nd deg. burns -
06-12-2006, 10:03 AM
So, I came home yester evening from the Swedish capital of Stockholm. I went there to participate in the Royal Guard at the Royal Swedish Palace, which I did aswell (Ill get pics as soon as possible). Thing is, we never got any sunblock. And it was a clear blue sky with a burning sun. 30+ degree's in the shade. And the post I was at was in the sun the whole time. End result; 2nd degree burnwounds on the nose, below the left eye and above the left eyebrow. The rest of the face is OK, only 1st degree burns there. Anyway, it was a good weekend, loads of tourists taking pictures and we kept the Palace safe for another 24 hours. Questions? Ask and Ill try to answer them.
Getting burned is this months "someone I went to school with and kinda talked to died this month"
biggrin:
sounds like you had a good time
