Hello
I'm running mohaa on a lan, my friends and I are enjoying the game apart from one thing.
Why do you move so slow? Even running is like tortoise speed. The lowest spec machine we are using is a athlon 1100 with 256 ram so it cant be performance issues. I'm guessing that the game is programmed with a low movement speed for realism reasons? (realistic 90 year old veteran speed i'm sure)
Please can anyone help is there a way of speeding up the game speed or something?
Thanks.

ummmmmmm ...................... so your sayin you want it to be like quake or UT. Fast paced movement and total disregard for tactics.

well Im not a modder so I cant help ya there. All I can sugest is learn to deal with it bein so slow. think about it tho if you had a BAR witch weighs close to 45 lbs you wouldnt run that fast either

As the last dude said , weighted down with a rifle and heavy backpack and ammo and grenades and c-rations - extra clothes and whatever else then you wouldnt run too good either.

The game is like UT or quake but with ww2 weapons to my mind. I'm a massive DoD2 player which wins hands down as a 'realism' sim, tactics and for team play. This game is more of a dm style game, not what i'd call realistic. (oh and i'm not just refering to free for all and team dm)

All i wanted was to know can you speed it up.
Not a lecture on the average air speed of an african swallow after having eaten 6 meal worms with an avg weight of .5grams each. etc type thingie. (by the way what is the average speed of the above.. )

Besides in combat situations it was normal to drop your back pack and extras so that you wouldnt be loitering along making an easy target.

Please helpfull replies or

The default run speed is set at 250.

In the counsel just type the following:

sv_runspeed"270"

or higher if you want.

Yeppers i have auto run turned on. (walk is even slower..just..lol)
I'm playing on a lan with good machines and no percievable lag or slow down.
Frame rate i have no idea but it seems to be running smoothly enough.
