McFarlane Hockey Figures -
07-04-2006, 06:37 PM
Since we have a shit load of hockey fans here, i was wondering if anyone collected the McFarlane Hockey figures of their favorite players. I recently started collecting them and currently have 3 Gretzky figures and another 10 on the way (different players: Messier, Domi, Brodeur, Hanson Brothers and a few baseball players)
These things are pretty cool and if they make your favorite player, i suggest getting them.

I'll have to take pics of all my mom's bf's "dolls." He must have 30+ rock n' roll/metal guys. From Devo to Iron Maiden to Metallica to KISS, he has just about every single rock n' roll figurine out there. oOo:

Well, about taking them out of the boxes....
Thats up to debate but think of this for a second. How much stuff do you own that is a valuable collectible? Are you ever gonna sell it? If you like to collect something because you like it, by all means take the friggin' thing out of the box and display it. If you collect it with value in mind, then store it away. These figures are cheap enough and i don't know if they'll ever garner enough "value" in the future where it'll make a difference in my life. Fuck it, my shit gets open and goes out on display. I only live once and i'd be dammed if i died and left a collection behind that i never got to enjoy. May the recipient of all my stuff get nothing but opened and used shit.
You can do what you want, but i'm gonna use all my stuff.
