Default Picture I doodled during sales meeting - 07-07-2006, 07:38 PM

The only way I can stay awake during our global sales meetings is to sit in the back of the room and doodle. I usually just doodle faces. This started out as a doodle, then I decided to incorporate things that we did during the sales meeting, (i.e. attended Brewers game, toured our Cocoa Plant and the Sprecher Brewery, went to the Safe House in Milwaukee, etc.). Anyway, here is the ink and the final colored version.

(I saw the M&M guys on the back of a comic book and put them in the picture since I had been staring at chocolate all day)

Nice - You have a knack for very clean looking drawings....What kind of pen you use?

I use a combination of Faber-Castell pens (they are felt type pens with India Ink) and Sakura technical pens. The felt pens come in Bold, Medium and Fine. In the technical pens I have an 01, 03, and 05. For this drawing I think I used the Bold felt and the 05 technical pen.

I have a ruler that I carry in my briefcase that has a circle on one end that can rotate. The ruler is supposed to double as a compass but it never works. For this picture I just popped the circle off of the ruler and I used that to make the big circles.
