Even though I have known this myself for a while, I think this email does a pretty good job in highlighting key points of difference between islam and western style democracy. Have a look for yourself.



Can a true Muslim be a good American?


Something worth thinking about. I forwarded that question to a friend that worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years.
The following is his forwarded reply:


Religiously no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)



Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).

Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and Destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34).

Intellectually no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religious _expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist.Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually no. Because when we declare "one nation under God," the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names.



Therefore after much study and deliberation....perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both "good" Muslims and good Americans. Call it what you wish....it's still the truth.

If you find yourself intellectually in agreement with the above statements, perhaps you will share this with your friends. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future.

YOU do know the bible says such things as to beat your wife/ lash and or kill your children for disobedience and such.. to kill gays...... and that sort of thing.. BUT do we do these things ? NO !, we read the bible and takes its teachings and read between the lines and tyr and get the message. i didnt say i completly agreed with this email, but that it brought up some good points that i've heard made before. of course not all muslims are zealots, just like not all christians are zealots. this email just brings up a good point. its very hard to be a "good muslim" and a good american. in fact alot of people from the middle east after living in the united states and other western countries drop islam and religon all together. its very hard to live in and adapt to a modern western style society when your religon is basically 5th century arabian culture turned into a religon.

how does questioning islam make you a racist. plenty of people hate americans or christians in general, are they considered racists?? of course not...they are considered products of their enviroment.

i am merely providing a prospective and a diferent point of view than the liberal politically correct version we have been brain washed to accept. open your mind and form your own opinions.

also, look at the title of that email, it doesnt say "Can a muslim be a good american" it says "can a true muslim be a good american" and it doesnt draw any conclusions, it just provides a series of facts and leaves it up to the reader to form their own opinions.

A series of negative facts.

If someone told the story of your life, but only the parts where you fucked up or did something morally wrong, then tried to pass it off as a "series of facts", I'm sure you'd be upset about that also. Then again, I mean, they are facts so I should be able to base my opinions of you off that right?

The e-mail you posted only describes the dirty part of Islam that the vast majority of Muslims refuse to practice and in some cases outright mock. The tone and wording of that E-mail would insinuate to someone who isn't so bright that true Islam is what most muslims practice.

Someone reading this article would come off with a very negative impression of Islam.

Oh yea, that's not racist either. You defend the e-mail stating that it says only true muslims, but then encourages Americans to be suspicious of ALL Muslims, then to detract from your second defense that it's just an opinion, the writer proclaims his "opinion" to be the truth.


And before you go off again on the whole true muslim thing, you completly disregard the fact that Islam has several different sects that believe in different things. Like Christianity has Mormonism, Catholcism, ect, so does Islam. To bunch them all together into one being is horribly ignorant.

This thread has no purpose at all. It's neither interesting, nor relevant, its totally and absolutely bias and it's not even at least funny...Stuff like this is used to make the ignorant masses paranoid, so that they follow the pied piper with a greater thirst for JUSTICE and FREEDOM and all those other cliche abstract political buzzwords.

If you have any brain at all you'd understand that this type of thing is totally one extreme and we could easily come up with something that says a similar or worse thing about white western christians.

Typical from someone like Eames who is so easily hung-up on judging people by their differences. If you want to raise some "good points," then find an article that isn't totally full of shit.

Not quite Short... but it is racist.
