My reasons are well documented, id prefer to play a game thats not a rushed buggy piece of shit, such as dod source or something along those lines. Planes dominate this game on every map theyre on, (as evidenced by dice totally ommiting planes from 2142 and opting for a helo varient). Infantry combats a total joke seeing as one tactic rules them all ZOMG PRONE!!!!

Only thing thats decent in the game is tank combat but even that suffers from drawdistance bugs which can be the difference between you winning and losing a long range fight as that first hit you may have got was obscured by the enemy tank glitching in and out of view, that and the fact tanks take damage from practically everything, roll over anything at speed and you take damage and even these small amounts add up and fuck you over in fights, where you should have 100% health you've maybe 80 or 85.

In short this game sucks more dick than a gay orgy, i prefer the difference betwen winning and losing to be based on the players merits and not by a buggy half assed game engine where exploits are aplenty and unpatched...still.

Btw u using a joystick in the vids? keep hearing a clicking sound that sounds like a stick being moved around.

Unless you actually have commendable heli/jet competence in BF2, don't make the mistake of assuming that exploits and bugs make people win air battles: that's nowhere near true. It takes tremendous skill to be successful in helicopters, much more so than anything else in the game...

I don't use a joystick, you were hearing me shuffle poker chips.

Never did assume bugs led to air battles being won, on the ground though the bugs are a joke from prone spamming to visual glitches to people getting inside of buildings they shouldn't be able to and firing through walls etc.

Not a bit of wonder this game goes by the name BETAfield 2 in most circles. annoy:

Just got bored of it and stopped playing it a few months back, with some luck quakewars dumps on this game from a huge height and forces dice to remove their heads from their assholes, but seeing as theyre now totally owned by ea thats not very likely.

Thanks Solidus, I've never been able to fly, mainly because I don't really try to learn how, but if there is anyone to learn from, i know it is you. Maybe I'll check them out and see what I can apply to 2142 now.

No worries.

People started out with a deep hatred for soloers and soloing in general... until and few of us came along explaining how it works along with instructions on how to perform the maneuvers: it turns out everyone secretly wanted to do it.
