03-27-2007, 01:08 PM
I wanted to start a thread where we can all congratulate one or maybe two of our celebrated members for making a shit day at work into something short of a murderous rampage. Today I would like to celebrate our friend Eight Ace, who after reviewing all of his posted pictures - gave me a much welcomed lol. I also heartily extend my thanks to Simo for introducing the kitty cat Metzger.
I thank you good sirs beer:

sorry to hear that mad. you'll "land on your feet" as they say, i'm sure. you could always sell that soccer medal that is always around you neck. Every picture i've ever seen of you has you wearing it so you must never take it off.
Another good idea i just thought of you could do is set fires to places and then offer to rebuild them at a discounted price to undercut your competition if you wanted to start a building building company. just a thought.
sounds like the place wasn't worth it anyway. find a better place.

this was a cool place to work with, me and my partner had alot of freedom in decision making. our company has been going through alot of shit with the sub-prime lending residential market, so the chiefs decided to pull out of it and instead continue with commercial and retail. sounds like an easy business choice, but residential alone consisted of 2/3 of all employees and provided about 60-70% of our total profit. they cut EVERYONE in resid and so now they dont need the support. my partner is pissed, she says she's thinking about not coming back to work on Monday if i am gone. I got a call from our vendor at AT&T and they asked if i wanted to come in and check out an onsite technician job they have nearby, so its not too bad. starting over at a new company - that shit sucks, but i'll get over it. i outlasted most others, but the cutting isnt done yet...
