Just got & Installed Windows XP Professional & now I can no longer play...


Seems everytime I start the game I get this:


GLW_StartOpen_GL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem


additionally this is what is in the console window:

I have upgraded to the newest version also!!!

reinstall your video drivers. i have xp pro and have no problems using nvidia detonator drivers.

no ..its the OS's fault....
but then again ...almost everyone on the planet knows Microsoft DO NOT include openGL drivers as part of their drivers for any cards.
common sense prevails ... never use microsoft (OS Standard) vid drivers for 3d cards.

Yeah, i had the exact same problem when i upgraded to XP, all ya gotta do i re-install your graphics card. For my, it kept saying that the software wasnt compatible with XP, so you have to install it through the devive manager, hope this helps!

That's a video driver problem not your OS.
