Ok when i first got this game back in january I had NO lag at all playing online and yes i do have a 56k Dial up But i get Awsoem connections with my 56k, when i played online i use to get liek 250 -300 ping and never lagged Now when i try to play online i get 999 Ping and cannot play Wtf? i have a 1400mhz Amd Athlon computer GeForce II 64 mb card alot of ram

can anyone explain why im lagging so bad that i cant play?

because youre on a 56k and playing on busy servers probably

i'm sorry about your lag as i can't answer that but i'd jus like to say about ur video card, if its the same as mine:64mb geforce2 mx400, turn off anisotropic filtering and ESPECIALLY TURN OFF ANTI-ALIASING in the advanced display properties of ur display SETTINGS tab. i boosted my lowly 20-25 fps to around 40-50 jus by doin that!
also don't use shadows or dynamic lights on as that may slow it down a bit but u can can play with that suggestion. just turn off anti-aliasing and see if your frames per second metre goes up any.i'm sure it will.

Try to find game with less players, like 6 max. It could be with a lot more people playing now you end up in game with a lot of people and a 56k just can't handle that amount of information.

You could even try hosting a game yourself inviting only others with a 56k modem. This work better for you.
