anyone knows how to plug a guitar into a pc?

i tried plugging it in the mic hole, the black one and some other hole's nµbut noone works

help me plzkthnx

you would plug it into the line in hole, or, if you are using music software, ie cakewalk, sibelius or finale, you need a midi type adapter i do believe

you need a preamp.

Behringer make good quality cheap all-purpose ones (for guitars/bass/vocals/turntables etc).
