usage of skins in MP games : question

All skins & patches are server side, except things like realism mod, and stuff like that. If it's server side, they won't see it. (blood, skins, weapons, etc.)

If I install a new skin on my computer, is it visible on other computers, although they have not the same skin intalled ?

If your playing with friends though, get them to install the same skin mods, then they will be visable on both ends as you'd both have the mods.

You can install a skin, but a guy on the other end of the line might have another skin on the same character. So they won't see your skin. Even if the skin is beautiful.
