I read about this back in January. Other than the guitar looking pretty sweet, I don't think it's that big of a deal. I have 4 guitars, and unless I go a month and a half without playing one of them, they aren't going to magically go out of tune. It takes like 15 seconds to tune when I play. Plus, at $2,700, I think I'd rather have a Les Paul Custom and a Fender Twin Reverb '65.

The only big advantage I can see is doing alternate tunings on the fly. It'd be cool to turn a knob and have the guitar tune itself to DADGAD or something.
